Hello, friends and family. And so it begins. Artie and Leinen's Grand Adventure in the 5th wheel. Traveling on the airplane was fun. No incidents with the dogs.
Reuben was to fly to LA at 6:00 the next morning. I hadn't really looked at his ticket reservation, neither did he until the afternoon of the 21st. Surprise! He found out he was flying out the same flight as me.
I was in Premium class, he was at the back of the plane. I got bumped up to First Class! He stayed at the back of the plane. Awwwww.
It took two flights to get to Portland. On each plane they gave me tickets telling me that the boys were loaded on the plane and ready to go! That was very nice.
I'm still learning how this blogging works and typing near pictures. The below picture shows The kennels in the truck.
We had dinner at Ayako's house this evening. Then we went back to the trailer. It is smaller than I imagined, but it doesn't seem to small to live in. It needs minor cleaning.
Ayako graciously cleaned out the kitchen cupboards and refrigerator before I arrived. The camping park is lovely with lots of big trees that Artie enjoyed marking.
The cat left behind at home is still hiding downstairs. When our house sitter moved in he came with a little bigger dog, with lots of energy. Very friendly dog that pretty much ignored the cat. However, she isn't happy about something and hid downstairs the day I was packing. I had to drag her out of under the bed when I left for the airport. The second house sitter is a man who is sleeping downstairs, and is a cat person.
That is all for now, I'm going to post this and see what it looks like. I hope you all enjoy!

The best part is that Grandma has a fenced in yard! Lots of space to run around in, but it is too hot to stay out long!

Hello from Denab and Jinny. I show them pictures proving that traveling can be fun. They are not impressed. They would rather stay in Nenana or Ketchikan but either way, stay put!
