Today was very busy. The inside of the trailer needs a good cleaning. I started in the bathroom area today. I finished unpacking. Learned how to cook on the induction burner. I took the dogs for their morning walk where Artie had to inspect every tree again today. I decided I need to take my camera on all these walks to take pictures of all the birds I see.
We went to Fred Meyers today for groceries and things for the trailer like a step stool, bowls, kitchen towels, and odds and ends of little things that didn't come down from Alaska.
I wish there was a way to better post the pictures than what this site has me do, but I'm still adjusting to this blogging experience. There are the dogs in the truck. They really love riding around, and there is so much more of that now than there is in Fairbanks. We went to Ayako's again today and they had the yard to run free again. I walked to PetCo and got a water dish, reflector leash (it's dark here!!!!) and poop bags.
Here is Artie up to his usual shenanigans. He likes to rearrange his bedding by dragging it out of his kennel. The dogs have very cool special harnesses right now that have handles on them. It helps us get them up the 4 steps into the camper, and helps them get into the truck.
Geesh, I can't get the cursor to go beside the below picture so I can type beside it.
Anyway, I bought a quilt for the bed. It is getting cool tonight....down to 48 degrees. In the 60's tomorrow, even though it was 93 yesterday. It was very, very windy today.

And a wonderful Thai meal with Brad and Brandy. These are friends that Richard met from his motorcycle blog. They live here in Corvallis, OR where his mother lives. Such fun people! I don't ride, but if I ever get a chance to, I really want Brad to be my teacher.
Picture taking was interesting-Richard set the camera up on the table aimed at us. He can look at his iWatch and see what the camera sees. He hit a spot on the watch and three seconds later the picture was taken. That's why his wrist was that way and he is kind of looking at it. I didn't know he could do that. I am kind of looking at the watch, too, in amazement because I didn't know that would happen.
Tomorrow we will bolt things down and leave. First stop is Camping World. What to do with the dogs? I think Richard stays with them in the truck, and I go in by myself to shop. Dangerous! Then we will head south towards CA. We'll probably stop in Bend, OR. We'll see!
Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging.
ReplyDeleteSo good to see you two again last night and thank you for dinner.
Safe travels.
