Day 5. The fifth day. Here we are at Redding, CA, ready to celebrate the Memorial Day weekend! No news on our truck, so I assume it didn't get looked at today. We'll be here at least until David's 25th birthday. Sorry, son, I really wanted to play board games with you.
What we will be missing: David's birthday. A family wedding. California Adventure
What we gain: More time to clean and organize the RV. Time alone with Richard. A mall. Geocaching. Turtlebay Exploration Park that includes animal shows, arboretum, botanical gardens, and the Sundial Bridge. Much cheaper than California Adventure.
Here is today's only picture. Today I cleaned windows, walls, drawers, and organized the kitchen. You can see how close we are to a highway.

Oh, update on the doggies. They get up and enjoy their morning walk. We discovered a fenced in dog area. By this afternoon they realized where it is, and walked straight to it. They stayed maybe 3 minutes then told me they were too hot and were ready to go sleep in the air conditioned trailer.
We have special harnesses on them that have handles to help them into the truck and into the trailer. They have mastered getting into the trailer now.

It is unfortunate that you aren't back on the road, but at least you two are enjoying some quality time together.
