Ooops, had the caps on. No pictures today. What????? I just finished yesterday's post and I really don't have any pictures for today. This morning I did some cleaning inside the camper before we left. I think we are still a day off from our original plans. Since it has been so hot we decided to park where there is power. This time we are at a KOA. It is the weekend and Richard had looked for state campgrounds, but they were all full. We are in Cedar City, which is north of Zion and West of Bryce. There is a lesser known National Monument here called Cedar Breaks Monument. What is the difference between a park and a monument? I will find out.
The campground here isn't as nice looking as the last one, nor is it near beautiful scenery, but the dogs give it 4 paws up for the fenced in dog area. We are very close to that, plus close to the pool, plus close to evening ice cream, and close to the laundry. The laundry is on the park borders, so it is also accessible to the locals. In that little building is also a salon, so I got my hair cut.
This was the most entertaining hair cut ever! The lady who cut my hair was Mexican. She had a friend there chatting, too. We had such good talks about how fat we were, diet pills and what they did to them, (she had a reaction to one because it had shellfish in it. Her whole face swelled up and she took the pills back to Walmart with her face all swollen.) our children, and why I should move to Utah. She also showed me a tea bag that someone had given her. It was a diet tea that her friend drinks every night. Her friend has lost 5 pounds in a month. She said she tried it and she couldn't sleep. These ladies were a hoot!
Today's other activities were going in the pool-a warm one! Laundry. A hair cut. Cleaning. Eating. Blogging-and now watching Richard wash dishes!
Tomorrow could bring cleaning the truck, getting groceries, visiting historical Cedar City, and star gazing at Cedar Breaks.
See you all tomorrow, and thanks for reading and following my trip.
