Hello, back again. Twice in one day! I thought I'd have lots to say tomorrow when we go into Glacier, so I better add todays pictures and thoughts. I did get my cleaning done, and Richard did a few electrical things around the RV. The picnic was full of good conversation with fellow RVers. Here are a few things from last night's dinner trip and search for huckleberry pie.

I had an unsuccessful hunt for a geo-cache, but I found this on the road! I guess they used this 8 foot in diameter ball between 2 tractors to clear away stumps and trees for the Hungry Horse Resevoir.

Fourth of July at the campground. The above picture is of yurts that you could rent to stay in.
One of the couples we sat and chat with owned this RV. We were joking how it looks like a transformer.
There were also these little mammals in the ground popping up like prairie dogs, but I don't know if they are or not. I sat down waiting for them to pop up, but all there was was this one making interesting sounds like he was telling everyone I was still there. I have a movie I'm trying to put on face book, but wifi keeps telling me it doesn't publish.

While I was waiting for the animal I took a picture of this insect. Can you see it?
Well, it took about 45 minutes for my pictures to upload, and about 5 minutes to type.
See you tomorrow or the next day! TTFN
That tree-clearing ball was have been a sight to see as it crushed trees...or perhaps crushed stumps?
ReplyDeleteHappy belated 4th. Love the little prairie dog pictures. I am assuming that is what they are too.
ReplyDeleteI found the answer today, watch for it in the next post.
