I took a trip to Minnesota to visit this guy. He’s Talon, my grandson. I have no idea why this is insisting I type everything with underline. Anyway, this is truly my grandson because he is wearing a Baby Yoda shirt, and reading a bird book. Lol.Well, I just looked at the post online. It does not show as underlined there, so you are probably wondering why I mentioned it being underlined. As I type what I see is underlined. Lol

I keep tapping the underline icon, but it won’t go away! I had just told Richard I needed a new bag that holds my iPad, headset, wallet, hearing aid things....for air travel. I found this at the store in the Seattle Airport that has all the cool things. It was very reasonably priced!.I was in Minnesota only 2 1/2 days. These pictures were from a park we took a walk in.

Back home. We found a painted rock on our walk!

We went to a park in Wisconsin the next day.

We walked to a waterfall that Tim had been to before. It was a popular swimming spot.But, whoa! The water was moving quite fast!

There were millions of baby frogs on the paths.

Waterfalls??? It seems the recent rains made this a raging rush of water. Even though it was hot, no one was swimming in the water.

I found a puddle walking back with tadpoles!

We took the easier walk back only to find it flooded. Time just took Talon on his back and waded through.

The lake area was quite flooded, too.

This is going to be a different kind of blog post. We went to Schneider’s Iris gardens. Let the pictures speak. It was amazing! There will be a few comments. Not much to read, just enjoy the colors. This one was the big winner in 1935. Yup! A lot of the winners back then were just purple. I believe the one below was the 1978 winner, the year I graduated from high school. Here were the fields of irises. Sorry if this doesn’t come out centered. You could purchase a bouquet for $8.00. I think ten flowers? Or potted plants for $12.00 for the basic colors. New colors like the pic below for 2021 is $55.0p for a pot. These are not from the iris gardens, they were at a restaurant. And we’ll end with dogwood.

Catching Up

Hello readers! Thanks for all the comments on the last post. However, I went from 116 viewers to 26. I'll blame it on Facebook! I am currently typing this in Leeds, UT. We had a big change in altitude and temperature. I am sitting in an air conditioned coach. Well, I think the new name is going to stick. Our coach's name is Big Lou. Thank you, David Streeter. Let's go back in time now and catch up on pictures. I'm starting with the few I took in Sisters, OR. We had to take our RV to a diesel truck repair place in Redmond. They needed it all day. Long time, no type!

Hello to all my fans out there. I have discovered and I am humbled that there are many people reading my blog than I thought. A shout out to Tim, Richard's friend who told Richard he was wondering why I stopped. I understand you are on the Chillcoot Trail? Wow, that is really bad spelling. Off to check Google.........Chilkoot. Got it. I'm going to jump to today, them go back in time. We are a little ways past Ft. St. John on the Alaska Highway. We have pretty good wifi here.
