It is Saturday, blog day. We are still in Needles. It was supposed to be 68 degrees today, but it has only hit 58. I did cleaning chores around here this morning. Richard did a lot outside. Check out Blog.machida.us to find out what he’s done.
I am trying a new thing when blogging on my iPad. I will put my picture on one side or the other and add text to the side of the picture. If my readdressing wish to view a bigger picture, then they click on the pic. Richard said this is easier for those who read the blog on their phone. The pic shown here is of the Bingo swag I won yesterday at Bingo. I didn’t win any games, just door prizes.
Several weeks ago we went to Tombstone to learn a little history, and watch a gun battle.
Tombstone is known as the “town too tough to die.”
One of the first things we did was to watch the re-enactment of the famous shooting. It was done very well. We went to a few of the stores along the street. I really like trains.
In the middle of the restaurant there is a spiral staircase going down. We found a gift shop down there with costumes similar to what is worn for Golden Days in Fairbanks. Plus this room. This is where the janitor lived. Hw secretly dug himself into a Vein of silver from his room. No one knows if he spent it or hid it.
The rest of these pictures were taken at the RV Park in Benson, AZ. I was standing at our door taking a picture of the sunset when Artie escaped.
This is the end of today’s blog. I will be slowly catching up!

Nice set of pics Bridget, and a pretty good sunset it seems, in spite of the dog escaping....
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine what the townfolks thought of the Knights of Pythias helmets, back in the day?
